In the historic center of Nardò, nestled among stone alleys and baroque sights, stands an independent house that combines vintage charm with modern comforts. Located in a quiet little courtyard, it offers the serenity of a private retreat just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the vibrant atmosphere of Piazza Salandra. The interiors are elegantly designed with the well-being of guests in mind. The bedroom opens onto an antique stone balcony, while the internal connecting terrace provides a breathtaking view of the rooftops and monuments of the city—an ideal spot to unwind at sunset. The owner, Stefania, welcomes guests with taste and sensitivity, drawing from her background in fashion and design. Every detail is carefully selected to convey harmony and ensure a delightful and authentic stay. The historic center, designated as a limited traffic zone, encourages exploration on foot through courtyards and baroque buildings; public parking is available in the surrounding areas, making it convenient for those arriving by car.

You will be hosted by Stefania

My name is Stefania, and I have always had a deep passion for art, design, and attention to detail. After years of working in the fashion industry, I decided to focus on hospitality by transforming my home in the heart of Nardò into a space that reflects my vision of beauty and harmony. I believe that every environment should convey a sense of tranquility and visual pleasure, which is why I pay careful attention to every detail with love. I enjoy making guests feel at home by recommending places to explore, traditional restaurants, and authentic corners of Salento.

Area city center

Nardò is among the most sophisticated and genuine towns in Salento, a place where time appears to flow with the slow elegance typical of the south. Its historic center features a maze of cobblestone streets, baroque palaces, and small courtyards that hold the charm of a noble past. Piazza Salandra, adorned with the Guglia dell’Immacolata and its golden stone buildings, is regarded as one of the most beautiful squares in Salento and serves as the vibrant center of urban life, filled with cafés, restaurants, and artisan shops. Just a few minutes from the center lie the stunning coastal areas of Nardò: Santa Caterina, Santa Maria al Bagno, and Porto Selvaggio. The latter, located within a natural park, is one of the favorite destinations for travelers due to its crystal-clear sea, pine forest trails, and secluded coves nestled among the rocks. Over the years, the clear waters of this coastline have earned the 5 Vele award from Legambiente, a symbol of environmental quality and natural beauty. From Nardò, it’s easy to reach Gallipoli with its seaside vibrancy, Porto Cesareo with its fine sandy beaches, and Lecce, the capital of Salento's baroque architecture. Each season brings different experiences: summer markets, patron saint festivals, cycling excursions along the coast, or tastings in the farmhouses. This is a land that welcomes with warmth, offering fragrances and colors that linger in the heart.
